Wysong Lock and Dam Evaluation - Kisinger Campo & Associates Corp., engineering company who evaluated the Wysong Lock and Dam facility as part of a continuing contract with SWFWMD for miscellaneous engineering and inspections services.

Wysong Park - a five-acre tract, situated on the Withlacoochee River, was once the site of the Wysong Dam. In 1990 the SWFWMD entered into an agreement with Sumter County, whereby the County would maintain the site as a local community park. Though small, the park offers beautiful river scenery and good location for observing wading birds.
