The purpose of this project was to remove Parsons Point Road, an elevated fill road that extends from the District’s Potts Preserve property into the marsh complex associated with the Hernando Pool of Lake Tsala Apopka in Citrus County in order to enhance the natural systems of Lakes Croft and Van Ness.
